At Frankfurt airport

get on a train (S-Bahn) to Frankfurt main station (Hauptbahnhof) which will take about 10 minutes.

At Frankfurt main station

get on a train to Marburg (direction Giessen-Marburg-Kassel). This journey takes 1 hour.
You have to buy only one ticket for the entire journey (ticket machine at the Airport station; appr. 10 Euro one way).

At Marburg main station

which is the next station after Giessen, get off the train. From the station it is a 5-minute walk to the IMT. When leaving the station, go straight ahead (Bahnhofstraße), cross the river and the highway, and turn left into Robert-Koch-Straße at the next traffic light. After crossing Lahnstraße you reach the IMT, which is located on the left hand side. You have to walk around the building to get to the main entrance.

From South

Coming from direction Gießen, leave the highway at exit "Marburg-Bahnhofstraße". At the traffic-light turn right into Neue Kasseler Straße. Follow this road for about 300 meters. Then turn right (still following the street) into Bahnhofstraße. Follow this road for about 400 meters. At the end turn left into Elisabethstraße. Then you will see the Elisabethkirche, an old gothic church. Turn left again into Deutschhausstraße and follow this road up to the next traffic light. Once more, turn left, cross a small bridge, and after 100 meters you will see the IMT on the right-hand side.

From North

Coming from direction Kassel, leave the highway at exit "Marburg-Bahnhofstraße". At the traffic-light turn right into Bahnhofstraße. Follow this road. At the end turn left into Elisabethstraße. Then you will see the Elisabethkirche, an old gothic church. Turn left again into Deutschhausstraße and follow this road up to the next traffic light. Once more, turn left, cross a small bridge, and after 100 meters you will see the IMT on the right-hand side.
